The YeloDeer 12V RV Tank Heater Pad is designed to help protect RV fresh water, gray water, and black water tanks from freezing during cold-weather camping, travel, and storage.
Each 12 x 18 in heater pad connects to a standard RV 12V DC electrical system and provides 60W of steady supplemental heat to the tank surface. The included switch control lets you turn each heater pad on only when freeze protection is needed.
Available in 1-pad, 2-pad, and 3-pad configurations, this system is suitable for single-tank or multi-tank RV setups. Each pad in a multi-pad kit must be connected to its own dedicated switch channel.

Choose this version if you want the heater pads connected to your RV's standard 12V DC electrical system. Each pad requires its own dedicated switch channel and appropriate circuit protection.

Important Before Ordering
The tank must contain liquid while the heater pad is operating. Do not operate the heater pad on an empty tank.
This product is designed for standard RV 12V DC electrical systems only. Do not connect it directly to 120V AC power.
Each pad measures 12 x 18 in and must be installed flat against a suitable tank surface. Do not cut, trim, fold, puncture, stretch, or resize the heater pad.
The heater pad protects the tank area where it is installed. Exposed pipes, valves, elbows, fittings, and other plumbing components may require separate freeze protection or insulation.
A properly rated fuse or circuit protection device is required. A fuse is not included with the product.

Installation Overview
Install the heater pad on the bottom or lower side of a compatible RV tank, preferably on a flat area near the lowest point and close to the drain or outlet area.
- Disconnect the RV 12V power source before installation or wiring.
- Clean the tank surface thoroughly to remove dirt, oil, moisture, and debris.
- Make sure the surface is fully dry, smooth, and free from sharp protrusions.
- For better adhesion, install when the tank surface is at room temperature or at least 50°F / 10°C.
- Peel the protective backing from the adhesive side of the heater pad.
- Position the heater pad flat against the bottom or lower side of the tank.
- Press firmly and evenly over the entire pad to ensure full contact.
- Remove trapped air bubbles during installation.
- Apply suitable adhesive tape around the pad edges when needed to improve long-term adhesion and reduce edge lifting.
- Secure the power cable away from sharp edges, moving parts, hot surfaces, and road-impact areas.
- Complete the 12V wiring and install appropriate circuit protection.
- Turn on each switch individually and confirm that it controls the correct heater pad.
Critical Wiring Information
Red Switch Wire Connect to RV 12V positive (+) input.
Yellow Switch Wire Switched positive output. Connect to the red wire of the corresponding heater pad.
Black Switch Wire Connect to RV 12V negative (-) or common ground.
Heater Pad Red Wire Connect to the corresponding yellow switched-output wire.
Heater Pad Black Wire Connect to RV 12V negative (-) or common ground.
Multiple Pads Each heater pad must be connected to its own dedicated switch channel.
Do not connect multiple heater pads to a single 6A switch channel.
The switch black wire and heater-pad black wire must both return to RV 12V negative (-) / common ground.
Use only a 12V DC power source. Never connect this product directly to 120V AC power.
If you are not familiar with RV electrical wiring, installation by a qualified RV technician is recommended.

Maintenance
Inspect the heater pad, wires, switches, connectors, and adhesive edges regularly. If an edge begins to lift, clean and dry the area before securing it with suitable adhesive tape.
Do not operate the product if the heater pad, wiring, switch, or connectors are damaged.
