YeloDeer Drum Heater is a flexible 120V silicone heating band for compatible 5-gallon buckets, pails, and 55-gallon drums. It helps warm thick materials, reduce viscosity, improve flow, and maintain suitable temperatures for oils, lubricants, resin, grease, wax, coatings, honey, and other compatible non-hazardous materials.
This product page includes two thermostat configurations: the original high-temperature manual thermostat heater and the new digital thermostat heater. Choose the version that matches your required temperature range and level of control.

Manual Thermostat — Higher Heat Choose this version when you need a simple silicone drum heater with a wider, higher temperature adjustment range.
Digital Thermostat — More Control Choose this version when you need real-time temperature monitoring, automatic heating control, and more precise low-to-medium temperature maintenance.
Digital Timer & Probe The digital version adds an external sensor probe, 0–10 hour timer, sensor calibration, and adjustable upper-limit control.
5 in vs 10 in for 55 Gal Choose the 5-inch band for narrower heating coverage or the 10-inch band for wider drum-wall coverage.

First choose the correct size, then choose Manual or Digital Thermostat.
The manual thermostat version is better suited to higher-temperature applications. The new digital thermostat version is designed for controlled heating from approximately 36–140°F and includes a real-time display, external temperature probe, 0–10 hour timer, °F/°C switching, sensor calibration, and overheat protection.
For plastic or poly containers, keep the temperature below 100°F (37°C) unless the container manufacturer specifically approves a higher temperature. Always verify that both the container and its contents are safe to heat.

Basic Installation
- Confirm that the heater size matches the bucket or drum.
- Make sure the container surface is clean, dry, and undamaged.
- Wrap the heating band evenly around the container.
- Fasten it securely so the heater sits flat and tight against the surface.
- Confirm that there are no folds, gaps, or overlapping heater sections.
- Connect to a properly grounded 120V AC outlet and monitor the first heating cycle.
Digital Thermostat Version
1. Insert the Probe Insert the temperature probe fully into the supplied sensor pocket.
2. Position the Sensor Pocket Place the aluminum foil side directly against the drum or bucket surface.
3. Secure the Sensor Fix the pocket firmly so the probe remains in consistent contact with the container.
4. Wrap the Heater Install the heating band over the sensor-pocket area and tighten the heater evenly.
Do not power the heater while it is rolled, folded, overlapping, or not installed on a suitable container. Keep the heater and controller dry, and do not cut, puncture, shorten, or modify the heating band.

Digital Controller Functions
Real-Time Monitoring Displays the temperature detected by the external sensor probe.
0–10 Hour Timer Set a heating duration when you do not want continuous operation.
Sensor Calibration Adjust the displayed temperature when a consistent difference exists compared with a trusted thermometer.
Forced Heating Mode Provides temporary manual heating if the sensor becomes inaccurate or fails. Monitor the temperature manually whenever this mode is used.
