Insulated 5-Gallon Bucket Heater for Freeze Protection & Low-Temperature Warming
YeloDeer 5-Gallon Insulated Aluminum Foil Bucket Heater is a low-power wrap-around heater designed to help prevent bucket contents from freezing and maintain workable temperatures during cold weather.
It uses a premium alloy heating wire, insulated aluminum foil inner layer, waterproof PU outer layer, adjustable straps, and built-in overheat protection.
Unlike a digital honey heater or high-temperature silicone drum heater, this model is designed mainly for gentle warming, heat retention, viscosity improvement, and freeze prevention.
Quick Fit Snapshot
72W Low Power Designed for gentle warming and heat retention, not rapid high-temperature heating.

Important Before You Order
This product does not provide adjustable digital temperature control.
It is a simple low-power heater designed to provide steady, gentle warmth. It is not intended for rapid melting, high-temperature heating, or precise temperature-controlled processing.
Your container is approximately 5 gallons or similar in size The heater can wrap securely around the container Your contents are safe for gentle warming You do not need adjustable temperature control The heater can sit flat and tight against the container The container is not leaking, cracked, or damaged The plug and outlet can remain dry The application is not hazardous, explosive, or flammable
Which YeloDeer Bucket or Drum Heater Should You Choose?
Choose This Insulated Foil Heater If You need freeze protection, low-power operation, basic viscosity improvement, gentle long-duration warming, and simple plug-in use.
Choose Digital Honey Heater If You need adjustable temperature, timer operation, honey decrystallization, digital display, and more controlled food-grade warming.
Choose Silicone Drum Heater If You need high-output heating, industrial liquids, faster warming, 55-gallon container options, or temperatures above 158°F.
Performance Expectations
At approximately 32°F ambient temperature, the product page indicates it may warm compatible contents to approximately 68°F–86°F, depending on the container, contents, installation, and conditions.
This is not a precision thermostat-controlled heater. Actual performance depends on ambient temperature, wind exposure, container material, contents and volume, starting temperature, heater fit, insulation, heat loss, and heating duration.

Expected Heating Range
This heater provides gentle warming rather than a fixed target temperature.
At approximately 32°F ambient temperature, compatible contents may reach approximately 68°F to 86°F under suitable conditions.
What Affects Performance?
Container Size Container Material Volume of Contents Indoor or Outdoor Use Wind Exposure Starting Temperature Installation Tightness Heating Time
How to Choose Between the Three Heaters
Insulated Foil Heater Best for freeze protection, low-power operation, basic viscosity improvement, and gentle long-duration warming.
Digital Honey Heater Best for adjustable temperature, timer operation, honey decrystallization, and more controlled food-grade warming.
Silicone Drum Heater Best for high-output heating, industrial liquids, fast warming, 55-gallon containers, and temperatures above 158°F.
Basic Installation
- Place the bucket or container on a stable surface.
- Check the container for leaks or damage.
- Wrap the heater around the container.
- Position it horizontally or vertically as needed.
- Tighten the Velcro straps and buckle.
- Make sure the heater sits flat against the surface.
- Plug it into a grounded 120V outlet.
- Monitor the first heating cycle.
- Unplug the heater when warming is no longer required.
Important Installation Notes
Keep It Flat Do not operate while folded, bunched, crushed, or unevenly wrapped.
Use Safe Containers Do not use on leaking, damaged, unstable, or unsuitable containers.
No Submersion Do not submerge the heater or electrical connection.
Keep Connections Dry Keep the plug and outlet dry and protected from water.
Do Not Modify Do not cut, puncture, or modify the heater.
Avoid Hazards Keep away from sharp edges, open flames, explosive areas, and hazardous locations.
For Better Performance
Secure the wrap tightly Use a container lid when appropriate Keep the bucket away from cold floors Protect the setup from wind Allow sufficient heating time Keep the blanket dry and flat Stir compatible contents when safe Unplug when warming is no longer needed
Outdoor Use
The outer material is moisture-resistant, but the product is not designed for exposed electrical connections in rain or standing water.
For outdoor-related use, protect the plug and outlet, use a weatherproof in-use cover, keep connections off the ground, avoid direct rain and snow exposure, and inspect the heater before each season.
The installation photos below show how customers use YeloDeer Insulated Aluminum Foil Bucket Heater for honey, syrup, paint, oils, fertilizer, plant nutrients, and other compatible 5-gallon bucket applications.
Every setup is different. Ambient temperature, wind, container material, liquid volume, heater fit, and heating duration can all affect performance.
